Top businessmen with Cebu Landmasters to develop a mixed-use
urban park and prime condo in IT Park
THE largest remaining private property in the Cebu IT Park was recently acquired by
a group of top Cebuano businessmen. This 1.17 hectare patch in the most valuable
address in Cebu is set to be transformed into a mixed-use urban park.
The project is a joint venture under El Camino Developers Cebu, Inc., an undertaking
between Cebu Landmasters, Gothong Southern Properties, Acrissor Development
Corp., and RKD Property Holdings Inc. with Cebu Landmasters as the lead
developer.
This mixed-used urban park concept will be highlighted by 3 main components – a
high-rise Residential Condo, an Office Tower, and a Retail boulevard featuring a
Central Park, and is slated to become one of the imposing landmarks in the city.
Master-planned by Callison RTKL, the world’s top 3 architectural firm, and designed
by Aidea, the Philippines top architectural practice, the project will deliver a proudly
Cebuano-led project with world-class standards.
To formally forge their partnership, Cebu Landmasters and the partner businessmen
signed a joint-venture agreement in a press conference on October 17, 2016 at the
Cebu City Marriott Hotel. The entire development will be unveiled during the press
conference and enable the public to catch a glimpse of what is to come.
Phase 1 of the urban park will be the residential condominium featuring a singular
high-rise tower that stands at 40 storeys, the highest in the park and boasts of
unparalleled 360 views of the city. The tower will have high-end features and
amenities but will be offered at upper mid-market price, which is targeted to pre-sell
by the first month of 2017 - just in time for the January festivities.
The retail boulevard will host restaurants and food outlets to complement the lifestyle
of the park, which will definitely be the next “go to” place of the area. The strip will
also feature a mini Central Park with its own internal boulevard to maximize
accessibility and walkability within the enclave.
Phase 2 will be the modern office tower which will be announced on a later date.
