Global entrepreneurship, innovation camp in Tuburan set
Sensecamp, the global entrepreneurship and innovation event is coming to Cebu this August 23-25, 2019 at Formosa Camp Resort, Tuburan, Cebu City.
With the theme, “Agro-tourism,” Sensecamp Cebu 2019 aims to empower the citizens to do their role in the achievement of the sustainable development goals and to inspire them to become change makers or social entrepreneurs in their localities.
The camp is organized by volunteers from makesense, a global network of people with the passion to create a better world through social entrepreneurship.
“makesense Philippines has been engaging Filipino youth for the last four years with social entrepreneurship for social and environmental advocacies, such as: sustainable tourism, agriculture, and clean energy,” said Léa Klein, Makesense Philippines Country Director.
The event will feature talks about Agro-tourism from social entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, and advocates, interactive workshops, eco tour, and many networking and skills exchange opportunities.
“The Sensecamp is a great showcase of how a community of people from a variety of backgrounds can come together and organize a learning and networking opportunity for their localities,” said Pepper Limpoco, Asia Community Developer.
Since it was launched in 2012 in Berlin, Sensecamps have taken place in many different countries.
