Carbon Market Vendors levelled up through Basic Bookkeeping, Accounting and Financial Literacy and Management Training

Over 80 carbon market vendors attended the Basic Bookkeeping and Accounting and Financial Literacy and Financial Management Training on December 9 & 10 at the 3/F, Interim Market, Carbon Market Complex, Cebu City.
Aimed to understand the basic concepts of accounting and financial management, the difference between accounting and bookkeeping, and applying the skills by performing key accounting tasks (recording and documentation), preparation of financial reports, and interpreting financial statements, a 2-day training was ably facilitated by Atty. Rheneir P. Mora, CPA.
Atty. Mora is the CEO of Sphinx Consulting Group Inc. and one of the Go Negosyo and DTI Kapatid Mentor Me Program Mentors as well as a Barangay-Based Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (BBEMP) mentor, of the Cebu Investments Development Concierge Center Project (CIDCC), implemented by CCCI in partnership with the Cebu City Government.
With the extension of the CIDCC project until June 2023, its Pillar on Ecosystem Support will conduct a series of training programs for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), cooperatives and livelihood groups to accelerate the rebuilding of livelihoods and businesses so the local economy of Cebu City and Province of Cebu can steadily bounce back and grow from the different disruptions in the last three (3) years.
